A Royal Post of no Importance

I'm posting. See the Queen post. See it be pointless! I really wanted to say something smart, but I'm just not feeling it today! Mayhap it is because of a loss of sleep, yes that is it. So, I'll tell you all what I'm thinking of: I know that God knows who you are going to marry, but have you ever even seen the person? Or is it someone you've known forever? Anyway, I was thinking aboot that earlier, and I wanted to put up a post, so you are all prey to my psycotic brain!

Guess what bestowed itself upon my eyes!

After I got my child ( just kidding, but she may as well be!) Arianna(my niece) ready to go out and play in the snow, I went out to take pictures of her. When I did my eyes lighted upon a guy, about 15 or 16, walking out in the snow. Why is that strange you say? Well, he had on shorts, a tee shirt, and flip-flops and he was Korean, says Alex, my neighbour, who also witnessed this heinous atrocity. We stared in shocked horror as he walked by our house and stopped in front of Tamara's house. There he proceded to take his very warm flip-flops off and dance about in the puddle by her mailbox. We continued to stare in dazed horror, and then suddenly I began laughing, which led to us all laughing. Then I suggested to Gabe that he ask him to sled with us, as we have the steepest back yard around and everyone comes here to sled. When finally got out of the puddle and walked back by, barefooted, Gabe said,"Hey man, do you want to sled with us?" To which he replied,"Naa." and took off running up the street, barefoot. If you've ever been to my house, you know my street is extemely steep, and is called Hilltop Road for that reason. How he made it up with out falling is beyond me. Don't you agree in thinking that he was insane!

Gifting

Maybe it is a word, who knows? Anyway, what I mean is that frantic time when one is trying to create ( yes, I am weird) gifts for the many special people in one's life. Can it be done? I guess we'll all see( the four previous words each had a double letter) after Christmas!By the way, Merry Christmas to all who read this !!!

The Phantom of the Opera

Foolish Knight, you knew this was coming!Last night I saw a glorious movie, the Phantom of the Opera. You readers may be saying, " How could you have seen it , it comes out the 22nd?"
Alas, my dear friends had tickets to a sneak preview and I jumped at the chance to see it. Why, Penny Lane and I even dressed the part! There are only three movies that have caused me to cry: The Patriot, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and this, The Phantom of the Opera. Please see this movie! But if you don't enjoy it, I'll fogive you, after all, we're all entitled to our own opinions, and not everyone agrees with me! What would be the point in that, I mean if we were all alike and liked the same things? How eminsely boring our world would be! So , I'm resigned to understand your opinion, so do tell, because I am interested to know if you enjoyed it or not!!

U2 in.....Latin???

One day, I started to translate some of my favorite songs into Latin. Here is the chorus to U2's, 'With or Without You':
Cum aut sine te,
Cum aut sine te,
Ego non vita,
Cum aut sine te.
I think it is kinda nifty! I also translated (loosely) Norwegian Wood by the Beatles. Maybe I just have too much free time ?

It's December!!!

Today is first day of that happy month, December!
However,my littlest brother is still in the hospital, but he may come home today! That also makes today glorious.Maybe I romanticize December to much, but how could I not? With all you most loved friends and family about, the happiness and warmth everywhere, and swirling snow, it is the hap- happiest season of all! All you need is love!

On a different but just as excited note, I beheld last night the Phantom of the Opera website! It was glorious! I can't wait till December22!

A Cloudy Day

Today is soooo gloomy! However, when I really start to think about it, it is a glorious feeling you get from a cloudy day! The anticipation that comes from not knowing what tommorrow will be like, for behind the clouds lies the sun.It makes you feel thoughtful, thinking, "What can do to make good use of a cloudy day?" I asked myself this very question this morning as I lay in my royal bed. To sleep, or not to sleep, that is the question. After decieding to proceed with my cloudy day early, I finished many tasks: Had devotions, cleaned my room, the bathroom, the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, did the laundry, finished some sewing, schoolwork, made the props for Mrs. Holloran's First Grade class play, and now I type before you, a productive member of society! To think, this morning I wanted to stay in bed and accomplish nothing, but I got up, with God's help, and have had a nice cloudy day. I just shut all the curtains.

Ello!

Did you ever notice how um, unusual, the cars of the late 70's and 80's are??They are all boxy and well, 80's!To imagine (I feel a song coming on!) that people actually liked them, and purchased them! Will our children look back on some of the cars we think are awesome with disgust? My mom loves the 1980's 300ZX (nissan).Probably because that was the car that she and my dad had when they were married in 1982.Maybe the car is a link to the good old days of freedom? I mean the car only had two seats! Whatever the emotional attachment, I still think it's ugly. ( I hate 80's cars with the exception of the Voltswagens, especially the buses)( that was directed at Joel!)

My Thoughts on Musical Plays

Singing the tunes to these 'classics' is fun with friends, but if you saw the play, you may not like what you see as much as you like what you hear. Some that I absolutely love are:
1. The Phantom of the Opera
It is perfect, and it has Michael Crawford
2.My Fair Lady
Audrey H. is exquisite
3.Beauty and the Beast
I was actually going to audition for this one, that says something, doesn't it?
4.The Music Man
It's Good
5.Mary Poppins
Yes, I know, but they did sing and act!

Today, I am feeling very thankful. my brothers were in a wreck on Monday, and I spent 3 days in the hospital with them. When Thanksgiving rolled around, I was out of it! So, I declare that I am Thankful to God for everything!!! Especially that He chose to save my brothers lives.
