Gifting

Maybe it is a word, who knows? Anyway, what I mean is that frantic time when one is trying to create ( yes, I am weird) gifts for the many special people in one's life. Can it be done? I guess we'll all see( the four previous words each had a double letter) after Christmas!By the way, Merry Christmas to all who read this !!!

I have faith that you will get all your presents done. And if not I am sure your friends will forgive you:)

I tell you what, gift giving gets weirder every Christmas. Or maybe I should say more expensive! But that's not to big of a deal, I guess. I actually got finished my gift-buying unusually early this year. I stumbled on a great gift for everyone. Or at least I hope everyone likes them. Even if they don't, there's always next Christmas.

If being abel to lovingly create a gift for someone is weird then I wish I were as weird as you!

It is a real shame, about not making gifts anymore. I don't think it's weird at all. I think this thing with going out in a flurry and buying a gazillion gifts for twice that much money, has become a duty, rather than in the spirit of Christmas. I think that as Christ has disappeared from Christmas, so has the true love of Christmas. The reason everyone buys gifts nowadays is because they're expected to, not because they want to really give the gift of love. It's become a duty, rather than a wonderful opportunity. I truly hope that someday people will see the spiritual side of Christmas, and see the physical gift giving side as an opportunity to add to that spiritual essence that Christ brings to us. I'm going to end this comment here, but I really ought to write an essay about it.
