U2 in.....Latin???

One day, I started to translate some of my favorite songs into Latin. Here is the chorus to U2's, 'With or Without You':
Cum aut sine te,
Cum aut sine te,
Ego non vita,
Cum aut sine te.
I think it is kinda nifty! I also translated (loosely) Norwegian Wood by the Beatles. Maybe I just have too much free time ?

Wow. That's impressive. I actually used an online Latin to English translator for a short story I did. Latin is an amazing language indeed. I suppose it's kind of hard to imagine Bono singing in Latin, but then again, he DOES speak in spanish on his most recent album, so maybe we can expect a multi-linguist Bono in the future!

That's very creative, With Or Without You is one of my all-time favorite songs and U2 always has had a liturgical side, haven't they? Now the Beatles on the other hand...

If you want to make further use of your time (if you have too much of it) you could translate "Gloria" (from October). Tell joel that here Bono does actually sing in Latin.
