These are pictures from our trip to Gatlinburg during spring break, we had lots of fun! It was really nice to be with my family all together again, even if I was the main course for a nation of spiders!

Return of the Queen

To for those of you who still visit this blog after my long absence, I convey my thanks. You may all be interested to know that I am indeed still among the semi-living! I just got off my way to short spring break and have since employed myself drawing away, and I know that you would rather me draw than post, right? My painting didn't get finished by the date for the show but that's ok, I sent 3 other pieces over anyway. This painting is going to be special so I can't rush it! I'll let you all see it when it gets finished.

I was reading in Psalms at dinner today and I heartily implore you to read Psalms 6 & 86. They were encouraging to me today, so I thought I'd share them with you.

Some new developments!

My wonderful mum bought me dirt, pots, and seeds and I got some of the blubs from my garden, and voila! I have a garden in my window! I love to grow things, I guess I got that from me mum. SOon I'll have tulips, irises, poppies and random wildflowers stretching thier heads towards the sun! I'm so glad that God made it possible to grow things inside, I think it's just what I needed!

Also, my easel has now taken up residence in my room too! This excites me beyond all reason! Everyone be sure to pray that the Lord will help me to get all of my pieces done by Friday, as in six days away! I guess I should be painting right now, bye!
