A bit of a ghost of the day before. Mostly photos, these days, since I tend to use my words in real life now.

Nesting
Started the 'nesting' process last night when I got home-it felt nice.
Hung up this little guy we got in Memphis for $5!
The view from one of my bedroom windows-if I didn't have an Anne Shirley complex before, I certainly will now since I have the Snow Queen outside.
One of the first things I put up-a house isn't a home without a little Rand.
Flowers by my bed :)
Friends came over after I got back from Trader Joe's, and we, Gabe, Luke, Chelsey, Tanya, Christopher and Otto, laughed and lived a bit before I fell asleep to the sound of the interstate humming and the wind pushing storms our way.

Goin' Back to Indiana
This was a weekend rich with driving, moving belongings, and sleeping in weird places.
Saturday morning I planted some irises after my dad helped me move some more furniture to my house.
Then I was off on my way to pick up my friend from Indiana University so he could spend Spring Break in the Heartland. It was my first big driving trip alone, which was kind of unnerving, but I survived.
Of course we ate at Farm before heading back home.
When we got back into Nashville, we were busy settling all the things that had been moved in, but not put where they belonged. We're still a LONG way off from settled, but we're getting there.

SUPER Tuesday
Cast my vote in the primaries for the candidate of my dreams: Dr. Ron Paul!
Saw this beautiful row of trees (popcorn trees)
(Then I went to work for several hours . . .)
After work, we met up at my house and drove 3 seconds to get downtown (I love living in Nashville) and walked past this lovely thing on our way to dinner:
Oh, Presbyterians. Oh, Egyptian Revival. Oh, I had an art show there once.
Finally it was time for the show. Yay Ryman Auditorium! There was some confusion with the paperless ticket situation, but overall we got inside pretty quickly.

Like a Lion
March: In like a lion, out like a lamb. Definitely got the lion part right.
"Stars, hide your fires, These here are my desires, And I won't give them up to you this time around. So I'll be found, With my stake stuck in this ground, Marking the territory of this newly impassioned SOUL!" Mumford & Sons (and a bit o' Will Shakespeare) Roll Away Your Stone
I am so hoping they will play this tomorrow night. Mmm. These are some of the flowers growing around my new house. I'm planning on planting a lot more this weekend. We have amazing views of the sunset every night. And more stormy weather.
